We process personal data only where this is necessary and where a legal basis exists.

Depending on the processing activity, the following legal bases in particular may apply:

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR - where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract,
• Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR - where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation,
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR - where processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests and your interests or fundamental rights do not override those interests.

Where cookies or comparable technologies are used, or where information on your terminal device is accessed, the requirements of § 25 TDDDG also apply. Services that are not technically necessary are activated only after you have given your consent.

4. Storage period

Unless a specific storage period is stated in this Privacy Policy, we retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the respective purpose.

If the purpose of processing no longer applies or you withdraw consent that you have given, the relevant data will be deleted unless statutory retention obligations or other lawful grounds prevent deletion.

When a website is accessed, the IP address of the requesting device must be processed technically so that the content can be delivered to your browser.

For our webspace, logging of website access is disabled in the hosting system. Under the configuration currently selected, no access log files are therefore generated for mangeraudio.com.

The processing required for the technical provision of the website is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our online service.

7. Cookie and consent management with CCM19

We use the CCM19 consent manager on our website.

CCM19 enables you to give or refuse consent for specific services and external content and to change or withdraw your choices later.

For this purpose, information such as the date and time, a randomly generated identifier and the consent status you have selected may in particular be processed.

The CCM19 script is integrated locally on our website. Google Maps, YouTube and Paperform are blocked by CCM19 without your prior consent and are loaded only after you have granted permission.

The consent manager is used in particular to obtain and document legally required consent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR; technically necessary storage or access is governed by § 25(2) TDDDG.

8. Contacting us and enquiry forms

If you contact us by email or via a contact form, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry.

Our general enquiry forms are forwarded to us exclusively by email. The form data is neither stored in our ExpressionEngine content management system nor additionally stored on our web server.

If your enquiry relates to a possible contract, a purchase, a home trial, a repair or another pre-contractual or contractual matter, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

For other enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to process and respond to your enquiry.

Correspondence stored in our email system is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the respective purpose, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

9. Home trial / Paperform

We use the Paperform form service for requests to arrange a home audition. The Paperform form is initially blocked on our website by our CCM19 consent manager. A connection to Paperform is established only after you expressly enable the external content.

The form processes in particular the following information:

• the Manger model you would like to audition,
• the requested start date of the home trial,
• name,
• email address,
• telephone number,
• street and house number,
• postal code and city, and
• a submission ID generated by Paperform.

The information is processed through Paperform and sent to Manger Audio by email. The person submitting the request also receives a confirmation email.

Permanent storage of form submissions by Paperform is disabled for our forms. Paperform processes the data only temporarily to the extent necessary for technical transmission and for sending the configured emails. According to Paperform, when submission storage is disabled, such temporary processing generally lasts less than one minute.

No additional integrations, webhooks or Zapier connections are configured for these forms. The automatic save-and-resume function is also not used.
The information you enter is processed in order to handle your request and prepare a possible home audition on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The externally embedded Paperform form is activated only with your consent pursuant to Section 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time via the cookie and privacy settings on our website.

Paperform processes form data as a processor on behalf of Manger Audio. Paperform's terms provide that its Data Processing Terms apply to processing subject to the GDPR. Paperform's Data Processing Agreement also includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant international data transfers.

Paperform may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. For transfers to countries without an adequacy decision, Paperform refers in particular to the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as an appropriate safeguard.

10. Newsletter and Mailchimp

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we require your email address.

For managing newsletter recipients and sending newsletters, we use Mailchimp, a service provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. Mailchimp is part of the Intuit group of companies.

Double opt-in

Newsletter subscriptions use a double opt-in procedure.

After signing up, you first receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. Your email address is activated for newsletter delivery only after this confirmation.

Processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, in particular by using the unsubscribe link in each newsletter. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.

No open or click analysis

We use Mailchimp to manage our recipient list and to send our newsletters.

We currently do not use personalised analysis to determine whether a newsletter has been opened or which links have been clicked. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

Data transfers to the United States

Mailchimp also processes data in the United States. According to its own information, Mailchimp, as part of Intuit, participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. In addition, EU Standard Contractual Clauses may form part of the contractual data-protection arrangements.

Your data is stored for newsletter delivery until you unsubscribe or the purpose of storage otherwise ceases to apply. Data may be retained beyond this point to the extent necessary to document an unsubscribe request, prevent further mailings or comply with statutory record-keeping obligations.

11. Google Maps

On certain pages of our website, we use Google Maps to display locations, in particular Manger dealers and contacts.

For users in the European Economic Area, the provider is generally Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Maps is blocked on our website by CCM19. Unless you expressly consent, no Google Maps map is loaded and no connection to Google is established through this integration.

Only after you have given your consent may Google process technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information and information about the page you have accessed. Depending on how the service is used, cookies or comparable technologies may also be used.

The legal basis for activating Google Maps is your consent pursuant to § 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

YouTube videos are embedded on our website.

YouTube videos are initially blocked on our website by CCM19. Before you expressly consent, only a local placeholder is displayed and no connection to YouTube is established.

Only when you allow the video is a connection to YouTube established. In this process, your IP address, device and browser information and information about the page you have accessed may in particular be transmitted to Google or YouTube. Our website contains links to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and, where applicable, to other external websites.

These are ordinary external links only. We do not use embedded Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn plugins, feeds or social-media widgets. Pinterest and X/Twitter are not currently integrated.

Merely visiting our website does not establish a connection to the respective social network through these links.

Only when you click such a link do you leave our website. From that point onwards, the privacy provisions of the respective external provider apply.
